In 1977, a small group of people met in a home for prayer. As time went on, the group grew and started meeting in a building known as The Barn. 
It wasn’t long before that group decided to become a church.

On September 14, 1980, the first service was held of what would soon become Valley View Baptist Church. For the last 40 years, Valley View has grown. New buildings and new ministries have helped the church to follow Jesus and spread his message to Vine Grove and around the world.

As we move forward, our desire is that Valley View will continue to be a place where people can come to know Christ, grow in Christ, and make Christ known to others.
